Medical: This is her 4th baby. 18 month old daughter that she placed for adoption in 2016 She has received spotty prenatal care. She reports she was a social drinker prior to conception and hasn’t had any alcohol during the pregnancy. She reports no drug use, and her drug test came back clean from her doctor’s appointment on Jan. 26th. We have the Socail Medical she filled out. She reports that her mom has mental illness, but doesn’t currently take medication for it.
Adoptive family: She would like an adoptive family to consistently send letters and pictures, as well as phone calls through the agency after placement. She would love if the adoptive family would be open to eventual visits being a possibility.
ICPC: because the baby will be born in Texas, ICPC will need to be approved before the adoptive family can return to their home state. Please be patient! We do all that we can and know who to call if things are going slow. This process usually takes 7-10 business days and starts the day after baby is discharged. Both adoptive parents are not required to stay the entire 7-10 days.
